Operator: Logg Bots ("we", "us")
Application: Plantlog Discord bot (Client ID 1557511749698326579)

By adding Plantlog to a Discord server, or by using its commands or features, you agree to these Terms and to the Plantlog Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Plantlog. If you add Plantlog to a server, you are responsible for making sure the server's members are informed that it is in use, for example in your server rules.
1. The service
Plantlog is a Discord security and moderation bot. Its features include alt-account risk scoring, anti-raid and lockdown, anti-spam, an invite and link filter, a phishing filter, anti-nuke monitoring of the audit log, server structure backups and restore, incident timelines, event logging, moderation commands (warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans, tempbans, quarantine), a cross-server threat network, security reports, an optional support ticket system (private ticket channels with transcripts), a one-time welcome card when it joins a server, and fun features (such as /speaktoplantlog, garden, and polls). It is provided free of charge, and features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and meet Discord's minimum age (13+, or higher where local law requires).
3. Server administrator responsibilities
If you install or configure Plantlog, you are responsible for:
- the settings you choose (thresholds, automatic actions, network mode, logging channels, and who has access to them);
- the actions moderators take using Plantlog, and the reasons they enter;
- controlling access to log channels, which may show message content and member information;
- giving Plantlog only the permissions it needs, and keeping its role placed correctly;
- complying with laws that apply to your community.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Plantlog to harass, dox, or discriminate against users, or target them unfairly, including filing false or retaliatory
/network reports or manual bans meant to flag users across servers; - try to manipulate the threat network, for example by coordinating servers to flag someone;
- use Plantlog to break Discord's Terms, Developer Policy, or the law;
- try to exploit, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the bot or its hosting, or get around its permission checks;
- use
/trialraid, the chatbot, or other features to produce abusive content, or try to get the chatbot to produce harmful output; - scrape, export, or resell data obtained through Plantlog for purposes unrelated to moderating your server.
5. Automated actions and the threat network
Plantlog makes automated decisions (for example, flagging, quarantining, timing out, kicking, or banning accounts, deleting messages, stripping roles, or locking channels) based on heuristics and the thresholds a server sets. These systems can produce false positives and false negatives.
The cross-server threat network shares records of automatic security actions (raid, alt, nuke, phishing) and, if a server enables it, manual bans with reasons and low-weight reports, with other servers that use Plantlog. A network record:
- is not a verdict, and does not confirm that a user did anything wrong;
- has less influence over time (half weight after 60 days, one quarter after 180 days);
- never causes Plantlog to automatically ban, kick or quarantine a person in another server. It only alerts that server's staff, who decide what to do;
- can cause a bot account on the bad-bot list (caught nuking or raiding) to be banned or kicked automatically when it is added to another server, unless that server has whitelisted it.
Each server decides for itself whether and how to act on network information. We are not responsible for actions other servers take based on it.
Appeals: if you think you were flagged by mistake, open a ticket in https://discord.gg/bwTP6VNuHd, run /network appeal, or contact loggbots@pm.me, with your user ID and, if you know them, the server and approximate date. We review appeals in good faith and remove records that are wrong. When we clear a flag, each server that had a record is told in its mod log, with the reason. We cannot reverse bans or other actions taken inside a server. Those are up to that server's staff.
6. Tickets
If a server turns on tickets (/ticket setup), members can open private ticket channels with that server's staff. When a ticket is closed, a text transcript is posted to that server's mod log and sent to the person who opened it, and the ticket channel is deleted. The server's staff control tickets and transcripts in their server.
7. Backups and restore
Backups include server structure only (roles, channels, permission overwrites, and some server settings). They do not include messages, role memberships, or member data. Restores depend on Discord's API limits and on Plantlog's permissions and role position, and may be incomplete. Keep your own records of anything critical.
8. Availability and no warranty
Plantlog is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that Plantlog will detect or prevent every raid, nuke, spam wave, scam, or compromised account, or that it will be available at any given time. Audit log events can be delayed, and some actions cannot be undone (for example, deleted messages).
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, server content, members, revenue, or goodwill, resulting from your use of Plantlog or your inability to use it. This includes actions taken or not taken by automated systems, other servers' use of the threat network, or misconfiguration. Our total liability for any claim relating to Plantlog is limited to USD 0 (Plantlog is free) or the minimum amount permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
10. Third-party services
Plantlog runs on Discord, and you use Discord under Discord's own terms. Plantlog downloads a public phishing domain list. If the operator enables it, /speaktoplantlog may use a third-party AI provider (currently disabled). AI-generated replies may be inaccurate and are not professional or security advice.
11. Termination
- You can stop using Plantlog at any time by removing it from your server. To have your server's stored data deleted, contact us (see the Privacy Policy).
- We may suspend or stop providing Plantlog to any user or server, at any time and for any reason, including violations of these Terms or abuse of the threat network. We may also block servers or users and remove reports they filed.
- We may discontinue Plantlog completely. Sections 5 and 8–13 survive termination.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Updates will be posted with a new effective date in https://discord.gg/bwTP6VNuHd and/or at the URL linked from the bot's profile. If you keep using Plantlog after an update takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
13. General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Not enforcing a provision does not waive it. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom, unless mandatory consumer protection law where you live says otherwise.
